Expo 2025 Osaka will be held in Yumeshima, a dynamic modern landscape of interconnected urban landforms in Osaka Bay.
The event starts from April 13 to October, 2025.
The venue area at Expo 2025 Osaka is divided into three main areas: Green World, Pavilion World, and Water World.
The Expo will feature initiatives aimed at creating a future society for our lives presented by 161 countries and 9 international organisations, as well as companies, NGOs, NPOs, citizens’ groups, and others from around the world.
Grand Roof (Ring), which is a symbol of the site of Expo 2025 Osaka, is designed by FUJIMOTO Sou, representing the philosophy of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan “Unity in Diversity”. When the construction is completed, the Grand Roof (Ring) will be one of the largest wooden buildings in the world with a building area (horizontal projected area) of approximately 60,000 m2, a height of 12 m (outside of the Roof 20 m), and an inner diameter of approximately 615 m.
