Kappi, a non-profit organization focused on education and empowerment in Indonesia’s coffee sector, will participate in the Business Forum at Expo 2025 Osaka by holding a discussion themed “Comeback with Confidence: Reviving the Glory of Indonesian Coffee in Japan” on June 19, 2025. This discussion aims to revive the prominence of Indonesian coffee in Japan, showcase innovation, cultural heritage, and sustainability in Indonesia’s coffee industry, as well as connect businesses and open opportunities for investment and coffee procurement.

Previously, Kappi has carried out numerous programs such as coffee farming competitions, national coffee seminars, and educational initiatives related to empowering coffee farmers. Now, Kappi is bringing Indonesian farmers and coffee products to a larger stage—expanding into the global market through its participation in the Indonesia Pavilion.

Kappi continues its program in the Business Forum, a platform that offers opportunities to meet directly with parties who can advance Indonesian coffee—such as investors, global buyers, and fellow coffee professionals from around the world. With the theme “Global Coffee Market Insight 2025: From Indonesia to Japan, for the World”, featuring Special Speaker: Ms. Judith Ganes, on July 23, 2025, Kappi facilitates meaningful dialogue and strengthens international collaboration in the coffee sector. Through this, participants can explore current coffee market dynamics, future projections, and opportunities for innovation.
